The basic requirements are the same as those listed above for the regular program, with
the additions listed as follows:
1. At least a 3.30 general grade point average and a 3.55 grade point average in the
major for admission to the Honors Program in the junior or senior year, and a 3.40 general
grade point average and 3.65 grade point average in the major by the time of graduation.
2. A grade of B or higher in Comparative Literature H195 for the writing of an Honors
Thesis under the direction of a member of the faculty. Honors students must prepare an
Honor's Thesis through enrollment in one or two semesters of Comparative Literature H195.
