Hiking along the Oirase Stream
Located near Lake Towada, the mountain stream of Oirase is known as one of the best scenic spots in Aomori.  Hiking down from Nenokuchi, a small town at the eastern shores of Lake Towada, to Ishigeto (approximately 10 km), you will enjoy the fresh air, green and a number of beautiful waterfalls!
Costs: approximately $60 (bus fare)
