Tony Lawson || Fall 2008

Tony Lawson is at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge, UK. He is organizer of the Cambridge Social Ontology Group and the Cambridge Realist Workshop, and until recently, he was Executive Director of the Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies. His numerous publications include the books Economics and Reality, and Reorienting Economics, both with Routledge. His views, philosophical in orientation, are much debated in the international academic committee, as is evidenced by Edward Fullbrook’s forthcoming book Tony Lawson and his Critics.

Public Programs

While at Berkeley, Mr. Lawson engaged in academic discussions with both faculty and students across campus.
