Summer Sessions

The College of Letters and Science offers 100s of courses each summer during Berkeley's five Summer Sessions.

While Cal students comprise approximately 60% of all Summer Session students, 40% come from other walks of life—including adults from the community, students from other colleges or universities, and high school students.

Many Cal students can describe first hand the benefits of attending Summer Sessions. Since classes tend to be smaller than those in the fall and spring terms and most meet five days a week, students enjoy intense learning experiences.
