O. R. C. localization

O R C Localization

Localization of the Origin Recognition Complex (O R C) on yeast meiotic chromosomes. O R C is stained red, and the chromosomes are stained blue. The chromosomes were prepared from meiotic nuclei in the pachytene stage, during which homologous chromosomes are synapsed along their entire lengths and fully condensed.

This work represented the lab of Jasper Rine in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology.
