Astronomers Make Important Planetary Discovery

Planet hunters have detected an extrasolar planet that is only four times the mass of Earth. Berkeley astronomer Andrew Howard, who announced the find, called this a "remarkable discovery." Such planets give important insight on planetary formation and may have the best potential to host life.
