The University of California, Berkeley participates in a domestic exchange program with Fisk University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College. Through this program, students of the social sciences may apply to complete a semester at one of these outstanding universities. Likewise, students at those institutions may apply to spend a semester at UC Berkeley, taking upper division courses in their specific areas of research interest. Applicants must be considering graduate studies in the social sciences and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

To be considered for the program, complete and return the application packet, including letters of reference, official transcripts, and statement of purpose. All application packets must be received by the Graduate Diversity Outreach Office by April 1, 2010 for the Fall 2010 semester and by September 30, 2010 for the Spring 2011 semester.
